Intro to wheel-throwing W/ SAM SCHAFER
Interested in making your own functional ceramics on the potter’s wheel? This class is for beginners who want to learn the basics of making wheel-thrown vessels - cups, bowls, etc.
This is a monthly class that meets once a week for 3 hours in the evenings.
Class starts Tuesday, April 6th 6-9pm.

EXPERIENCED POTTERS ONLY!
This “class” is for students looking to work independently on projects either on the potters wheel or using the hand-building tables. Guidance is provided by our experienced studio artist, Cal Kato.
Class meets once a week for 3 hours.
Price includes all firings, studio glazes, use of all studio tools and 1 bag of clay - students can purchase more clay as needed. Bisque firing will be done after the 3rd week of class - glazing is expected to be completed by the last week of class.
All projects must be picked up within 2 weeks after class finishes.
Please no production potters.

This class is for beginner and experienced potters who want to learn everything from the basics of throwing a cylinder to a range of techniques used to make different forms on the potters wheel.

Beginning Hand-Building Class
Join us for a really fun introductory ceramics class. Beginning Hand-building will focus on creating things you can use! You will be amazed at what you can make: cups, trays, plates, bowls and more. You will also learn some fabulous decoration techniques that will personalize your pottery and make it stand out from the rest!
Intermediates and even advanced students can always learn something new and refine your techniques.

This small-group class is for the beginner potter. Students will be taught the the basics of working with clay, including hand-building techniques and throwing cylinders on the potter’s wheel. Intermediate potters are welcome.

AFTER-SCHOOL CERAMICS CLASS FOR STUDENTS
Kathryn Stovall is teach after-school ceramics for middle school and high school kids. Students will get to hand-build, throw on the potter’s wheel and have fun decorating their pieces.
